Hier lief vor inzwischen fast einem Jahr schon einmal die Frage, wie der passende Begriff für “Lokalblogs” aussehen müsste. Ich selbst bin mit dem Begriff nach wie vor nicht zufrieden, weil ich ihn für nicht 100% passend halte. Teilweise gibt es erste Versuche das mit “lokale Netzmedien” zu betiteln. Hat jemand bessere Vorschläge?

Diese Woche dreht sich hier alles um Lokalblogs: langsam aber sicher kommen sie in der Masse an. Das ist schön und wurde Zeit. Daraus ergibt sich aber auch ein wichtiger Punkt:
Wie nennen wir das Kind?
Lokalblog, Hyperlocal oder noch schlimmer der eingedeutschte HyperloKal-Blog sind für mich nur Arbeitstitel. So wird das in der Masse nicht verstanden. Für zu viele ist ein Blog noch immer ein subjektives Tagebuch und hat mit seriösem Journalismus nichts zu tun.
Bei mir im Journalismusstudium wurde noch 2006 die Prüfungsfrage gestellt: “Weblogs: Klowände des Internet?” - Das sagt doch alles. Und das haben sich Professoren ausgedacht, die Journalismus lehren. Dass sie sich die Frage gerade bei Jean-Remy von Matt abgekupfert haben, macht die Sache nur noch schlimmer.
Um das Thema in der Masse zu platzieren, braucht es einen griffigen Begriff. Mir ist noch keiner eingefallen. Jemand Ideen?
